would you use a shop?

I have been considering adding a non currency based item shop mod. We used to use a sign based feature of essentials for this and some people seemed to really enjoy it. The one I'm looking at uses signs and chests and would allow you to stock a chest with items you want to sell and set a price in the form of another block type.

My vision here would be for someone who wanted to take the time to set up a potion shop or farm exp and enchant items, or mine materials, or really just whatever you guys wanted. It would offer people a different element of gameplay while still being able to interact with the rest of the server.

Would any of you oppose such an addition and why? Would any of you really, really, /happy dance, want this addition? I'd like to get some feedback on this one.

We should definitely do this. I would finally have something to do with all the extra stuff I don't use.

I agree. An actual functioning market district would bring our city to life, which at the moment it seems to be lacking. I get the feeling everyone is elsewhere building other projects and it makes me a little sad. We traditionally have a very impressive spawn town. This one in its current state feels a little lacking. Some of this is definitely my fault as I have been very busy with work and other things.
