Just like here, I'm Woojitsu on Steam. In fact, if you see a Woojitsu anywhere on the Internets, there's probably about a 70% chance it's me.

I tried setting up a pickup server for myself and Atty on my machine last night, but couldn't figure it out. Probably some issue with my port forwarding or something. Anyone else have any luck?

I've got 31337 forwarded like it's supposed to be /shrug

I'm not on right now, but if you connect I should see it.

It was acting a little odd just a little bit ago. Very random speed ups and time jumps.

Regardless, they did just put out an update too. ;D

I may be wrong, but I do believe he was using his computer as the server. So I think he has to actually have it up and running for us to connect.

FINE .... I admit it. Great game.

Yes for a server to run, you must be online and have the server running in a separate instance of the game.

I do hear alot of people saying the game is way too quick to beat and max out pretty much everything. Anyone experienced this yet?

I havent maxed out, but I can tell Im getting close. I do know that they plan on continuing to expand it. However, its certainly no MMORPG. Its not going to take several months of constant grind to get to that point. I enjoy it regardless.

True! However, the steam page for Terraria lists this:

Key features:
Sandbox Play
Randomly generated worlds
Free Content Updates

So Im hoping that means free.

Molten gear is maxed? I thought the jungle gear was some of the better stuff. (even the meteor gear is better than molten?)

+ If we did a dedi - server ... or if I ran one for us, it would need a daily / other daily wipe and new characters on creation with no porting items / gear. just saying. Wink
(This is coming from someone with epic gearz) - otherwise its about as fun as pickin yer own nose n eating it.

**Oh an yes I would be happy to run such a server off of my machine. With the way this game is, the few people whom it allows at once etc, shouldn't be hard, I already run a private server for 3 of us, 1 in a diff state. Already got my ports forwarded etc etc etc Wink

Yeah, when Ope, Era, and me were playing on Opes machine, all of us made new characters. Idk about new worlds daily... maybe weekly.. itd depend on how quickly you went through stuff... and what was going on.

But yeah, we'd have to come up with a small list of rules ect.
