Vanilla Days

So are we ever going to go back to a vanilla? I would love to play on the server, but every time I try to get BTW working the server just tells me its wrong and kicks me.

I propose that when 1.4 comes out (which should be soon I think) we start a fresh new vanilla map. Maybe a /home command but other than that just straight old school vanilla.

Honestly, while I loved Technic I've found myself playing the snapshots recently. So I think I'm in agreement as well. Actually if people want maybe we can backup what we have now and load the server snapshot and start playing with it now?

Has anyone even been playing on the server lately?

I love some good ole vanilla with /home. Perfect to me.

The only issue is that if we go with the snapshots we wont have a /home because its not part of vanilla. WE would have to wait for bucket to update to get that. So if we want to play with the new content(which i do ) we could just go that route for now and when bukkit updates to 1.4 we could go with that and get /home back.

Thoughts?

If this is what we want to do, I will setup the vanilla server as soon as I'm done cooking dinner. Please let me know.

Side note, I just talked to Xack and he's good with going snapshot vanilla for now.

Ok, it seems like people like the idea of using the snapshots and going back to vanilla.

Here is the link to download the snapshot jar, just replace the minecraft.jar in your %appdata%\.minecraft\bin folder with this one and you're good to go.

i may need to be re-whitelisted, either that or i am doing something very wrong.

We had an issue with the whitelist a while back Fribz Ill re add you. Also, Mojang has released a new snapshot
